Family and Memorial Awards Click Here For The Nomination Form COFFIN MEMORIAL AWARD is for an individual NOT assigned to the Cadet Programs, who promotes, assists, anticipates in the Cadet Program and provides solution to cadet problems. DUNBAR MEMORIAL AWARD is for an individual who has expanded the capability of the Minnesota Wing Communication field through their efforts and technical expertise. SINDELAR MEMORIAL AWARD is for an individual working outside of their assigned specialty by consistently volunteering to assist other staff members in processing their paper work. FAMILY OF THE YEAR is based upon CAP member or non-member family member’s unselfish contribution of time, effort and skills in support of Civil Air Patrol activities in Minnesota. Nominations can be made by going to the online form available here. Tips: 1. Provide as much detail as possible regarding the members performance. List significant accomplishments and goals achieved. 2. Describe in detail how the member has supported the Cadet Program (Coffin), Radio Communications (Dunbar) Administrative Functions (Sindelar) or how the family has supported the squadron. 3. Describe the duties the member has been assigned to and how well he has accomplished them. 4. Describe how this member’s/family’s performance has impacted the unit and community. 5. List what major activities the member has participated in. 6. Describe how the member has advanced the area of interest (Communications, Cadets, Admin Support, Personnel etc…) 7. Describe how the member/family has been involved in the Missions of CAP 8. Self-nomination is not encouraged. 9. Remember that less detail is not more. The more detail provided allows the board to see the whole member. |
