The NCR Public Affairs Leadership Academy (PAOA) will provide basic level training for PAO’s on the 4 parts of the PAO’s Flight Plan (Press Releases, Newsletters, Websites, Community Outreach) as well as PA Planning and the use of evolving technology in PA Operations.

An entire day of the academy will be devoted to Basic Level Mission Information Officer Training. MIO training will be a key component of the academy.

All training will be a combination of presentation based and hands-on practical training by Senior and Master PAO's.

The cost of the academy is $ 20.00 per member. This includes program materials, meals and refreshments. Billeting is available on post for $ 17.00 a night.

PAO’s from other regions are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Registration will open in early in 2009 and as we have more information it will be posted here.
