North Dakota Wing Aircrew took digital
pictures for Wahpeton city officials today. The pictures
show downtown Breckenridge MN and Wahpeton ND. The towns
only have one bridge that connects them and that bridge is
threatened by the Red River. The Red River flows from South
to North and is heading to Fargo North Dakota.
The Red River near
Wahpeton is forecasted to crest today.
The pictures were taken
by Col Karl Altenburg. The Aircrew was Lt Col John Steiner,
Maj Chad Smith and the photographer was Col Karl Altenburg
our Wing Commander.
In the photo of the team by Lt Col Troy Krabbenhoft, from
left to right is Lt Col John Steiner (Pilot), Col Karl
Altenburg (Wing Commander and Photographer), Lt Col Bruce
Emmel (Safety Officer) and Maj Chad Smith (Mission Observer)
