Story accompanied with Video
And that is our top story this
midday. Thanks for joining us, I'm Rosemary Shultz.
Local civil air patrol members leave town before the sun
rises this morning to battle floods in the Fargo -
Moorhead area. This is the Mankato Composite Squadron's
second trip this week. They will aid in sandbagging and
whatever else is needed as the Red River is expected to
reach record levels. Those making the trip say it feels
good to be lending a hand. Johnathan Macemon says, "It's
amazing. I can go and help people. Volunteer to do it.
That's why I'm here. It's one of those warm cuddly
feelings. "The squadron plans to make another trip to
Fargo on Saturday.
